Blow Work

In this performance, I focus on the idea of birth through a conceptual use of breath, its capacity to give life. I am looking at ways in which a ritual, by the virtue of symbolism and bodily discipline, has a potential to reflect a gendered bodily trauma. This private event investigates boundaries between interior and exterior spaces of the body. I am interested in ephemeral works where the body dictates the duration of the action.
